Murtada Mansour Verdict: Former Zamalek Club President Fined for Insulting and Defaming Former Presidents

Aguja Criminal Court has fined Murtada Mansour £3,000 for insulting and defaming former Zamalek club presidents, including Captain Mahmoud al-Khatib, Mamduh Abbas, Walid al-Attar, Hisham Nasr, Hani al-Attal, and Hisham Hatab.
The court has also ordered Murtada Mansoor to pay £1 as provisional civil damages to the civil plaintiff and to cover the costs.
The case, which was filed against Murtada Mansour, is related to his removal from Zamalek membership. The administrative court had previously decided to suspend the case of former Zamalek club president Mamdouh Abbas, which demanded the payment of 2 million pounds to Murtada Mansour.
The case, bearing No. 4530 of the judicial year 71, was disputed between the former president of Zamalek Club, Murtada Mansour, the Minister of Sports, the director and chairman of the board of the Giza Sports Association, and the directors of Zamalek Club in their legal capacity.
