Prince⁣ is choreographing the “Carousel” ballet. She said she wanted to create a humorous and light piece with a deeper, underlying context. Her ballet is set around a park bench and centers on a nomad ⁣character, exploring themes of appreciating life’s simple pleasures.

McOnie emphasized the‍ significance of Agnes de Mille’s work, noting that her choreography “liberated our form of storytelling.” He ⁣hopes to reintroduce dream ballets into musicals, highlighting their value in conveying global stories through dance.
