Musk Trump Social Media Deletion
Trump-Musk Feud: Social Media Posts Disappear Amid Online War
Updated June 07, 2025
Several social media posts have vanished amid a heated online exchange between former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. The dispute includes deleted posts on X,formerly Twitter.
One notable deletion was Musk’s claim that Trump’s name appears in files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the deceased financier and convicted sex offender. This allegation, posted on Thursday, is no longer visible. Users now see a message stating, “Sorry, that post has been deleted.”
Another deleted post showed Musk agreeing with a message advocating for Trump’s impeachment and suggesting Vance as a replacement. these deletions hint at a possible cooling of tensions between Trump and Musk.
The online clash began after trump criticized Musk and threatened to withdraw government funding from SpaceX. Despite the apparent de-escalation,Trump has indicated he is not seeking reconciliation.
When asked if he would speak with Musk, Trump responded, ”No I don’t have plans… I’m not even thinking about it.” He added, “I’m not really interested in that, I’m really interested in the country, and solving problems.”
“I don’t wont to comment on his drug use. I don’t know what his status is,” Trump said.
Trump also defended Musk against allegations of drug use, calling a New York Times article on the subject “very unfair.”
What’s next
While the immediate online battle seems to have subsided with the deletion of inflammatory posts, the long-term implications for the relationship between Trump and Musk remain uncertain. The situation could evolve as both figures continue to navigate their respective roles in politics and business.
