Saipan,MP – The Marianas visitors Authority (MVA) is reporting a surge of interest from Japanese travelers following a successful partnership with Toyota Tsusho at the Toyota Group’s exclusive annual fair in Japan.
“Toyota Tsusho reached out to partner with MVA in our continuing marketing efforts to increase visitor arrivals from Japan,” said MVA Managing Director Christopher A. Concepcion. “They know that our success translates to more visitors, a stronger economy and better business.”
The MVA’s vibrant promotional display at the fair drew enthusiastic crowds eager to learn more about the islands.
“We hope this will be the start of a continuing relationship with Toyota toward our mutual goals,” Concepcion added.
At the event, MVA, Toyota Tsusho, toyota Tourist, and AK Toyota collaborated to showcase the beauty and allure of The Marianas. Visitors were treated to destination videos, promotional materials, and details of a special tour package designed specifically for the Japanese market. Interactive elements, such as demonstrations of customary “mwar” (floral garland) making, further immersed attendees in the islands’ rich culture.
The MVA’s presence at the fair, alongside approximately 190 other exhibitors, marked a notable opportunity to connect directly with a highly targeted audience within the Toyota Group. notably, the MVA was the only destination granted permission to operate a booth at this exclusive event.
