Fatima Al-Kashef Opens Up About Her Love Story with Gamal Abdel Nasser
Egyptian artist Fatima Al-Kashef recently appeared on the “Qaeda Stat” program, presented by Marwa Sabri, where she shared the details of her romantic journey with her husband, artist Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Al-Kashef revealed that her love story with Gamal Abdel Nasser began when they were students at the Institute of Dramatic Arts. She emphasized that she had complete trust in him and expressed her love through actions rather than words.
The artist also shared that a prominent star had admired her husband and had acted alongside him in several movies. When she became aware of this, she was faced with a choice: to continue working with him or to prioritize their marital relationship. Ultimately, they both chose to focus on their relationship and declined other cinematic projects that would have brought them together with other actors.
Fatima Al-Kashef expressed her enthusiasm for attending the closing ceremony of the National Egyptian Theater Festival and extended her gratitude to artist Mohamed Riad and the festival staff.
In an exclusive interview, Al-Kashef paid tribute to the renowned theater woman, Samiha Ayoub, saying: “God bless you, Samiha Ayoub is a theater icon and a woman we are all proud of. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her.”
Al-Kashef concluded by reaffirming her love for theater, stating: “Theater is the father of art, and the National Egyptian Theater Festival is the festival of playwrights.”
