Myanmar government “Invites armed groups“ – 27 September AFP Myanmar’s military government has reportedly invited armed anti-government groups to join negotiations and end their fight to bring peace back to the country.

The surprise offer comes after the junta has faced several setbacks in its fight against ethnic armed groups and the People’s Defense Force (PDF) in recent months amid rising tensions over the 2021 coup which is still drag on.
