An emotional Rafael Nadal was celebrated at Roland Garros following his retirement from professional tennis last November. The tribute marked the end of a remarkable career, leaving Nadal visibly moved.

Nadal’s career at Roland Garros concluded a year prior with a defeat by Alexander Zverev. Although anticipating his retirement, Nadal opted against a farewell ceremony then, awaiting certainty about his future. he ultimately retired at the Davis Cup Finals.
Roland Garros held a special place in Nadal’s career, where he achieved a 112-4 record and secured 14 titles. “To win 14 grand slams [titles] in the same place…it’s gonna take a while,” Nadal remarked.
