Nadiem Makarim Granted House Arrest in Chromebook Case Trial

A judge has granted house arrest for Nadiem Makarim in connection with a trial regarding the procurement of Chromebook laptops.

The legal proceedings are taking place at the Corruption Court (Pengadilan Tipikor) in Jakarta, where Makarim faces charges related to Chromebook corruption.

During the trial, the public prosecutor argued that the case is not a standard criminal matter. The prosecutor characterized the situation as a form of constitutional defiance.
