The Egyptian audience is incredibly supportive, my second-largest following after Iraq, which makes me feel connected. However, I have struggled to fully engage with Egyptian productions in the past primarily due to the roles offered not aligning with my artistic vision. I want more than just light-hearted scenes; I seek roles that challenge me and illustrate the depth of my talent.
Interviewer: Given your background and the struggles you faced growing up, how have those experiences influenced your career choices today?
Nadine Nazim: Growing up with four older brothers and in a financially struggling household taught me the virtues of determination and hard work. My father, a tailor, instilled in me the drive to succeed despite adversities. Those lessons shape not only my work ethic but also my desire to portray strong characters on screen, reflecting resilience and strength.
