Yoshihiro Takatori, a renowned Tokyo-based international dispute resolution specialist, has joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu as Special Counsel. With his extensive experience in international dispute resolution, Takatori is set to bolster the firm’s global disputes practice.
Takatori, who was admitted to the bar in Japan in 1992 and in New York in 1999, has had a distinguished career in international dispute resolution. He has been a partner attorney at Kasumigaseki International Law Office since 2020 and has previously worked as a partner in charge of dispute resolution at Paul Hastings and Orrick’s Tokyo offices.
As a leading expert in international litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), Takatori holds various prestigious positions, including a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), an executive director of the Japan Arbitrators Association (JAA), and an executive director of the Japan Institute of International Arbitration (JIIART).
