Event Details and Registration for the 40th NAHA Marathon
The race is open to healthy entrants aged 16 and older on the day of the competition, with participants under the age of 18 requiring guardian permission. The NAHA Marathon Association has set participation fees at 11,000 Japanese yen for adults, while entrants aged 65 and older or 18 and under pay a reduced fee of 9,000 Japanese yen.
Runners can collect their race numbers and T-shirts on December 5, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Check-in takes place at the Okinawa Prefectural Budokan Arena Building, located at 52 Onoyama-cho in Naha City. An opening ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 PM on that same Saturday at the Prefectural Budokan arena stage.

Full Marathon Begins December 6 at Onoyama Park
On December 6, 2026, the full marathon begins with a start time of 9:00 AM. Both the start line and opening ceremonies are stationed at Onoyama Park, while the finish line is located at Ohnoyama Stadium.
Participants face a strict time limit of six hours and 15 minutes, which includes designated cutoff points along the course. All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, and runners who complete the full distance receive a finisher certificate and a finisher medal.
Awards and Recognition for Finishers
The award ceremony honors top runners across male and female divisions. The first-place male and female finishers each receive a certificate, a medal, and a trophy. Second through fifth-place finishers in both divisions are awarded certificates and medals. Every official finisher receives a finisher certificate and a commemorative medal.

Attendees can reach Onoyama Park via the Yui Rail (Okinawa Urban Monorail), stopping at either Tsubogawa Station or Onoyama Park Station, both located a one-minute walk away. Local bus services also operate near the venue, with nearest stops including Koen-mae, Gunsambashi-mae, Yamashita, and Ounoyama Koen-mae.
Parking availability is strictly scheduled around the event days. Parking lots open on December 5 from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and on race day, December 6, from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
