Nansha District Launches Mobilization Meeting for Major Animal Disease Prevention and Control Work in Autumn 2024

On September 23, 2024, the Nansha District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau organized a mobilization meeting for the prevention and control of major animal diseases in the autumn of 2024. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the provincial and municipal autumn prevention and control work conference on major animal diseases and the work requirements of “fight first and then make up for it”, and deployed the main points of the prevention and control of major animal diseases in our district in the autumn of 2024 and the main tasks of our district’s livestock and veterinary work in the next stage.

The meeting emphasized adhering to the general requirements for the prevention of human and animal diseases and moving checkpoints forward, based on maintaining the overall development safety of the breeding industry, public health safety and biosecurity, conscientiously implementing the “prevention first” policy, comprehensively improving the prevention and control capabilities of major animal diseases, and ensuring the goal of preventing major animal diseases from occurring.
