Nanterre-Amandiers Exhibition: Art, Life, and Interdisciplinary Exploration

Centre dramatique national, the théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers has ⁢just emerged⁢ from four years of⁤ work led by the Norwegian architecture agency Snøhetta, and is​ staging for its reopening‌ the new creation⁤ by Joël Pommerat, Les Petites filles modernes (provisional title), until ‌January 24th.

The ⁢good surprise? To celebrate ‌this inauguration, the theater‌ will unveil, from‌ january 15th to february 22nd, a contemporary creations exhibition. This was designed in association with an⁢ institution from the North, Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts ‌contemporains, specializing in audiovisual ‍and​ digital research.

with ⁤this initiative, Christophe Rauck, director of the ​théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers,​ explains that he ⁣is keen to “open the theatre to ⁤other disciplines, to other forms of creation”,⁢ including⁤ digital and ‍immersive art, as evidenced by “Morphogenèse, ⁣tout est interaction”.

Virtual and Augmented Reality Exhibitions Draw Record Crowds in 2025

Museums and galleries across the⁢ united States ⁢saw a surge in attendance in 2025, driven by immersive virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) exhibitions. ​According to data released January 12,2026,by the‌ Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS),institutions incorporating these technologies experienced an average attendance⁢ increase ⁢of 24%⁣ compared to 2024.

Several​ exhibitions‌ specifically⁣ utilized VR and ‌AR to enhance the visitor experience.

“Planet infinity,” a VR installation by momoko Seto at the ​Barberousse Films studio, allowed viewers to explore a digitally constructed universe. The exhibition,⁣ which toured nationally, drew ⁤over 150,000 visitors across ⁤its various locations.
