The National Association of Broadcasters conference held in Las Vegas in April 2026 highlighted artificial intelligence as a central theme, connecting businesses with content creators and showcasing AI’s integration into core media workflows.
The 2026 NAB Show, held April 18–22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, brought together more than 1,100 exhibitors and industry leaders to explore breakthroughs in AI, the creator economy, sports, streaming, and cloud technologies. The event emphasized a shift from experimentation to execution in AI adoption across media, and entertainment.
According to Karen Chupka, Executive Vice President, Global Connections and Events at NAB, the biggest shifts in media are no longer theoretical but are happening in real time across how content is created, distributed, and monetized. She stated that NAB Show brings together leaders building the future and shaping business decisions for what comes next.
This year’s show floor featured nearly double the number of AI exhibitors compared to the previous year, including two dedicated AI Pavilions. Exhibitors included Gyrus AI (West Hall), Imagen Video (North Hall), Speechmatics (North Hall), TwelveLabs (West Hall), Veritone (West Hall), and Vizrt (North Hall).
Major technology companies such as Adobe, AWS, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Google Cloud demonstrated how AI is being applied across the full content lifecycle, from creation to distribution and monetization. These demonstrations reflected broader industry trends toward cloud-based and software-driven media workflows.
The NAB Show highlighted how the lines between media, technology, and advertising are increasingly blurred as AI becomes embedded in core operations. The event underscored a transformation in which creators are emerging as fully scaled businesses and media workflows continue to evolve through AI-powered automation and personalization.
As the media and entertainment industries enter a new phase defined by execution rather than experimentation, the 2026 NAB Show provided proof that the future of media is expanding beyond traditional broadcasting, driven by AI innovation and real-world implementation across content creation, sports media, and the creator economy.
