In a move to modernize payment systems, Apple pay has officially launched in Egypt. The National Bank of Egypt, under the leadership of president mohamed El-Atrebi, spearheaded the initiative, with testing completed on Tuesday.
Other major egyptian banks, including Bank Misr and CIB, have also activated the service, making it readily available to customers. Officials anticipate that more banks will join the platform in the coming weeks, further expanding access to this convenient payment method.
