Eligibility Criteria

- National or local government officials at level 4 or higher with at least three years of experience in tax-related roles.
- Senior civil service officers with a minimum of five years of experience at level 5 or higher.
- Judges, prosecutors, military legal officers, lawyers, certified public accountants, tax accountants, and academics with at least 10 years of experience in tax-related fields.
However, individuals who have served as public officials within the National Tax Service, local tax offices, or affiliated organizations in the past three years are ineligible. Additionally, those currently serving on other National Tax Service committees or employed by organizations subject to employment review under the Public Official Ethics Act are also excluded.

Interested candidates must submit a resume with a photograph, a self-identification form, and supporting documents, such as proof of employment and qualifications. Applications can be submitted through the Sontax app under "Counseling, Grievances, Reports > Committee > Submit Application for External Member" or via Hometax under a similar menu. Alternatively, applications can be emailed to sujin0921@nts.go.kr.
The deadline for submissions is 6 p.m. on Jan. 31. Late applications will not be accepted.
