San Diego-Washington​ Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz is now on the 10-day injured list. The move comes ‌after Ruiz was struck in the head by a foul ball⁢ off teammate Josh BellS bat while he was in the⁤ dugout Monday.

The Nationals reported that Ruiz sustained a ​head bruise from the incident. ⁢He immediately ​left ​the dugout after being hit and was replaced⁤ by Riley Adams.

following the Nationals’ 10-6 victory, ruiz underwent a CT​ scan. In a corresponding move, catcher Drew Millas was ⁤called‌ up ⁢from Triple-A Rochester. Millas has ​a .247 batting average with four home runs and 25 RBIs in 52 games.
