Teh body of Nattapong Pinta,a Thai national who was taken hostage during the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel, has been recovered in rafah, southern Gaza, according to Israeli Defense Minister Israel katz.
Pinta, an agricultural worker, was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz, near the Gaza border. The community suffered meaningful losses during the attack, wiht a high percentage of residents either killed or taken hostage. The Israel-hamas conflict continues to impact humanitarian aid efforts.
Katz stated that the Palestinian militant group, the Mujahedeen Brigades, had been holding Pinta’s body.
