NBA All-Star Week is underway, and the NBA is offering fans a chance to get closer to the action through the NBA ID All-Star Challenge, running from to . The limited-time event allows fans to earn exclusive rewards simply by engaging with NBA content and participating in All-Star voting.
How to Participate
To participate, fans must join the NBA ID All-Star Challenge and be signed in to their NBA ID account. The challenge requires completing activities within the NBA App or on NBA.com. These activities fall into two main categories: watching NBA content and casting votes in various All-Star competitions.
Watch NBA Content
The “Watch” component of the challenge includes several options for engagement:
- Start a Story
- Watch a clip in Moments
- Stream more than 5 minutes of a live game
- Watch more than 5 minutes of a Classic Game in the NBA App
Cast Your Vote
Fans can also earn rewards by participating in NBA ID All-Star voting experiences. These include:

The NBA notes that votes cast in All-Star-related competitions that began before will still count towards completing the voting action within the challenge.

- Surprise & Delight Voting Badges: Event-specific badges earned by participating in select marquee votes, without requiring separate challenge opt-in. These include badges for the Celebrity Game MVP, Slam Dunk Contest, and NBA All-Star Game MVP votes.
