Houston Police Department Lieutenant R. Wilkins reported that multiple men attempted to rob a man of his chains, which led to a physical altercation. During the fight, the robbery victim produced a firearm and opened fire, striking two people.
One victim was shot in the torso and the second individual was shot in the arms and legs. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals in critical condition. The shooter fled the scene following the incident.
People online identified one of the shooting victims as NBA Ben 10. He is a 26-year-old rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a member of the Never Broke Again collective associated with NBA YoungBoy. He is known in the rap community for the song Play Wit Me
