Preseason matches begin on the 8th with a match against the Hawks.

On September 26th (September 27th, Japan time), the Pacers announced the signing of an official Xzibit 10 contract with Keio Tominaga.

In the 2023-24 season, which will be his last at the University of Nebraska, Tominaga participated in 32 games, including the playoffs, and averaged 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists, his best average. As a recommended player, he contributed to the school’s first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 10 years. Furthermore, Tominaga, who participated in the Paris Olympics as a member of Japan’s men’s national team, became the first Asian player to play for NBA G League United in September. In addition to participating in the match against Serbia’s Mega MIS, he also participated in the “FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2024” held in Singapore.

Xzibit 10 is a non-guaranteed minimum salary contract that can be converted to a two-way contract before the start of the regular season. He will be required to show off his skills at training camps and preseason matches. The conflict with Tyler Polley, who was announced on the same day and signed an Xzibit 10 contract, is also attracting attention.

In the past, Yudai Baba signed an Xzibit 10 contract with the Mavericks and Yuta Watanabe with the Raptors, and Watanabe was then switched to a two-way contract and successfully made it onto the opening roster for the 2020-21 season.

It has also been announced that Yuki Kawamura, who played with both players on the Japanese national team, has signed a contract with the Grizzlies. Details have not been made public, but it was announced this month by his former team, the Yokohama Bee Corsairs, that he would agree to an Xzibit 10 contract and participate in training camp.

NBA camp-in is October 1st. Preseason games will begin on October 4th, with Tominaga’s Pacers playing their first game against the Hawks on the 8th, and Kawamura’s Grizzlies playing the Mavericks on the 7th.
