PDC Darts Finds New US Broadcast Home With NBC Sports

the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has struck a new broadcast agreement with NBC Sports to bring premier darts events to US audiences.Select PDC tournaments will be available for live streaming on NBC’s Peacock platform, substantially boosting the sport’s visibility in the United States.
Peacock’s live coverage will feature key PDC events, including the Premier League Play-Offs, US Darts Masters, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, and the prestigious World Darts Championship. The platform initiated its coverage with the recent Premier League Darts Play-Offs, where Luke Humphries triumphed over Luke Littler.
this agreement enhances Peacock’s already robust sports programming, which includes the NFL, Olympic and Paralympic Games, English Premier League soccer, NASCAR, and, starting in 2025-26, the NBA. Peacock also provides daily sports content via the NBC Sports channel.
In the UK,the PDC recently extended its long-standing rights deal with Sky,ensuring major PDC competitions remain on the pay-TV network until 2030,beginning with the 2025 World Championship.
Peacock will stream live coverage of the Premier League Play-Offs, US Darts masters, world Matchplay, World Grand Prix, grand Slam of Darts, and World Darts Championship.
Separately, NBC Sports has also renewed its rights agreement with USA Swimming, ensuring continued coverage of swimming events on both the main NBC channel and Peacock through 2028. This extended agreement includes domestic events such as the National Championships,Pro Swim Series,and the return of the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships to NBC Sports in 2026 after an eight-year absence. This partnership complements NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2028 U.S. Olympic Trials and Los Angeles Olympic Games. NBCUniversal holds the US media rights to the Olympic Games through 2036.
