NCT Chenle Unveils Special Album ‘Chan’ in Collaboration with Tencent Music

SEOUL, South Korea – NCT Chenle is set to release a special album, “Chan” (灿/LUCID), in partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment (TME). The album will be available on Chinese music platforms,including QQ Music,Kugou Music,Kuwo Music,and NetEase Cloud Music,starting May 5 at 12:22 p.m. KST.
‘Chan’ Album Details
The album “Chan” features three Chinese-language tracks, highlighted by the title song of the same name. “Chan” (灿/Lucid) explores the theme of finding brilliance amidst solitude, blending delicate string arrangements with soaring high notes.
Remake of ’tear bridge’
Adding to the album’s depth is “泪桥/tear Bridge,” a reimagining of the song originally featured on the soundtrack of the 2003 drama, “Altitude.” This remake marks the first time the song has been revisited in 22 years. Chenle’s interpretation brings a nuanced and subtle expression, adding a darker tone to the familiar melody.
collaboration with Joo-chang
The album also includes “Feat. Joo-chang” (Cosmic Joke), a track reflecting on the acceptance of letting go of dreams. This song reunites Chenle with Joo-chang after their previous collaborations on chinese broadcasts.
Music Video Release
The music video for the title track, “Chan” (灿/LUCID), will be released on May 5 at 12:22 p.m.KST via the official NCT and NCT dream YouTube channels.
