The long-term goal is to construct state-of-the-art CRDMO facilities, potentially within Oxagon – NEOM’s dedicated advanced and clean manufacturing city – or at other strategically chosen locations throughout Saudi arabia. This initiative represents a notable investment in the Kingdom’s economic diversification efforts and its commitment to becoming a regional biotechnology hub.

This collaboration strategically aligns WuXi apptec’s decades of experience in enabling biopharmaceutical innovation with NEOM’s advanced infrastructure and commitment to sustainability. WuXi AppTec provides a complete range of services, from drug finding to manufacturing, supporting companies throughout the entire pharmaceutical lifecycle. NEOM, in turn, offers a unique habitat for advanced manufacturing, leveraging renewable energy and cutting-edge technologies.
