Strategic Collaboration to Localize Pharmaceutical R&D and Manufacturing
NEOM, the ambitious enduring region under development in northwest Saudi Arabia, and WuXi AppTec, a leading global contract research, development, and manufacturing organization (CRDMO), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on October 28, 2025, to foster pharmaceutical innovation within the Kingdom. This partnership aims to establish a collaborative framework for localizing pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing capabilities, directly supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and its National Biotech Strategy.
