BTS’ Jimin’s “Who” has become the fastest K-pop song to reach 400 million streams on Spotify in 2024, becoming the most streamed K-pop song of all time.
According to Spotify, Jimin’s solo song “Who” has added 7,545,053 streams as of August 28, recording over 400 million streams overall, once again raising the status of K-pop by becoming the fastest song to be released worldwide in 2024 in just 41 days.

On this day, ‘Who’, which ranked 6th on Spotify’s ‘Global Daily Top Song’ chart, showed its ability to take the top spot on the same chart for 20 days. At the same time, it shined with a presence that did not fall behind in competition with strong pop stars, settling in the ‘Top 10’ for 41 consecutive days since its release on July 19.
In particular, it is showing strength in the United States with a market share of over 20%, and on the ‘US Daily Top Songs’ chart on August 19th, it topped the US chart with over 2.1 million streams, beating out collaborations between ‘Billie Eilish’, ‘Lady Gaga’, and ‘Bruno Mars’, becoming the first solo song by a K-pop soloist to top the US chart. As of the 28th, it is in 9th place with over 1.87 million streams, maintaining the ‘Top 10’ for 41 consecutive days.

Jimin’s “Who,” which is receiving much love by ranking 2nd on Spotify’s “Global Top Songs” (August 19-22) chart and 3rd on the “US Top Songs” (August 19-22) chart, proved “Jimin Power” by rising to the top as the most streamed song on Spotify in 2024 on August 25, 38 days after its release.
Meanwhile, Jimin’s “Who” ranked 32nd on Billboard’s latest chart (dated August 31) main song chart “Hot 100” based on stable streaming, breaking the record for the highest ranking by a K-pop solo song by entering the chart for five consecutive weeks. On the “Global 200” chart, it extended the record for the longest “Top 10” by a K-pop solo song by five weeks by entering the chart at 9th place, and on the “Global (excluding US)” chart at 5th place, continuing their streak of five consecutive weeks on the chart.
