Otsego County Woman Arrested on Multiple Child Sexual Abuse Charges
COLUMBUS, NY – A New berlin woman is facing serious charges after authorities say she subjected a juvenile to years of sexual abuse.
Holly L. Adams, 35, was arrested Tuesday by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office following a month-long investigation.
The investigation began on December 10th when the Sheriff’s Office received a report alleging persistent sexual abuse in the Town of Pittsfield. Deputies say their investigation revealed that Adams had engaged in ongoing sexual abuse against a child for approximately three years.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Adams used threats and coercion to carry out various forms of sexual abuse against the victim.
deputies located Adams at a residence in the Town of Columbus and took her into custody without incident.
The Otsego County District Attorney’s Office recommended Adams be released on her own recognizance. She was processed and lodged in the Otsego County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
Adams faces the following charges:
course of sexual conduct against a child
Three counts of sexual abuse
Two counts of coercion
Forcible touching
* Five counts of endangering the welfare of a child
Local Mother Arrested for Years of Child Sexual Abuse

An order of protection has been requested on behalf of the victim.
