Major League Soccer (MLS) has teamed up with New Era Cap, making the sports and lifestyle brand the official on-field cap provider. The agreement grants New Era the rights to produce and distribute headwear and other products for all 30 MLS clubs.
The partnership arrives as North America prepares to host major international soccer events, including the FIFA World Cup 2026. Both MLS and New Era aim to capitalize on the sport’s growing popularity in the United States and Canada.
The collaboration promises new merchandise and experiences for fans, deepening their connection to the league and its players. New Era and MLS have previously collaborated on branded items, and this new arrangement expands the possibilities.
“With soccer’s rapid rise in the U.S., this partnership aims to accelerate the sport’s momentum and bring added attention to the outstanding talent and unique experiences that MLS clubs are delivering every single match,” said Tim Shanahan, Senior Director of Licensed Products at New Era Cap.

What’s next
Fans can anticipate new styles this summer, including collections tied to the MLS All-Star Game and MLS Cup Final. New Era will also introduce more MLS headwear and daily wear items.
