New Horizons Unveiled: IFFD-OTR Embarks on Academic Year 2024-2025 with Unwavering Confidence
IFFD Examiners’ 6th Promotion Officially Launched
The General Commissioner of the OTR, Philippe Kokou Tchodjié, launched the official start of the 6th promotion of IFFD examiners on September 2, 2024, building on the renewed confidence in the institution.
The Tax and Customs Training Institute (IFFD) of the Togolese Revenue Office (OTR) has become a reputable training center, providing high-quality education and training for public finance professions.
According to the Director of the IFFD, KIBALO Bagna, the start of the academic year is a significant moment for the educational community, including the administrative team, coaches, and students.
“The start of the academic year is an opportunity to share a common ambition, set milestones, and build projects together. Despite the turbulent international environment, we can approach this academic year with confidence in the quality of education and training provided at IFFD-OTR.”
The IFFD has recorded excellent results, with 470 graduates in just five years. To maintain this momentum, the Training Council has outlined clear steps for the academic year.
“By implementing the Training Council’s instructions, this action plan aims to enable IFFD-OTR to provide cutting-edge training that prepares our students to be articulate African citizens, creative, ethical, and optimistic, who can shape a better future for their public finances.”
Over 187 auditors from public, private, regional, and international administrations in Central and West Africa will participate in the 13-month intensive training program, covering six areas: customs, tax, management of tax and customs services, surveyor technicians, conservation and treasury, and land registration.
