New Leaf for Al-Jawf: Emir Al-Shayel Takes the Helm of Revitalized Friends of the Environment Committee
Prince Faisal bin Nawaf Reconstitutes Environmental Committee of Friends of the Region
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Al-Jawf Region, has issued a decision to reconstitute the Environmental Committee of the Friends of the Region.
Committee Composition
The reconstituted committee will be led by Dr. Faisal Bin Ali Al-Shayel as Chairman, with Sultan Bin Muffleh Al-Matroud serving as Vice-Chairman. Other members include Mohammed Bin Ziyad Al-Sadun as Secretary, Marzouk bin Malfi Jaruh al-Khanjar and Sattam bin Daham, both concerned with environmental issues, and Abdul Aziz bin Abdul-Wahed al-Hamwan as Media Officer. The committee also includes representatives from 9 government agencies in the region.
Committee’s Mission
The Environmental Committee aims to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all neighborhoods and governorates of the region, including parks. The committee will work to increase and maintain vegetation cover, promoting environmental conservation and sustainability in the region.

Dr. Al-Shayel, on behalf of the committee, expressed gratitude to His Highness the Emir of Al-Jawf and His Highness his Deputy for their continued support and attention to the committee’s efforts and programs. The committee is committed to making maximum efforts to work towards environmental conservation and enhance environmental sustainability in the region.
