New Mexico Lawmakers Demand Documents to Uncover Jeffrey Epstein’s Full Story

New Mexico lawmakers have taken a significant step in their investigation into the activities of Jeffrey Epstein, issuing subpoenas to a range of government and private institutions. The New Mexico Truth Commission, a bipartisan committee, aims to uncover the full extent of Epstein’s operations in the state and determine if any additional individuals should face prosecution. “We will name what happened, we will name who was responsible, and we will do so with the evidentiary regard that survivors deserve and that the law requires,” Reeb stated during a meeting at the New Mexico State Capitol. The commission is collaborating with the state Justice Department, which has reopened a criminal investigation into Epstein that was previously halted in 2019 at the request of federal prosecutors in New York.
