New Mexico Defeats Air Force in Dominating Performance

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos delivered a decisive victory over the Air Force Falcons on Tuesday, winning 98-61 at The Pit. The Lobos’ strong offensive showing propelled them to their 20th win of the season, improving their record to 20-6 overall and 11-4 in Mountain West Conference play.

Antonio Chol led the Lobos in scoring with 20 points, adding five rebounds to his performance. Jake Hall contributed 16 points, shooting efficiently from the field with 5 of 8 made shots, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. He also secured five rebounds. Deyton Albury rounded out the double-digit scorers for New Mexico with 14 points, complemented by nine rebounds and six assists.

The Lobos showcased a commanding performance on both ends of the court, shooting 55% from the field and 48% from three-point range. They also capitalized at the free-throw line, converting 63% of their attempts.

For Air Force, Kam Sanders was the leading scorer with 13 points and two steals. Lucas Hobin added 10 points for the Falcons, while Kolby Gilles contributed nine.
