The 2025 movie calendar is filling up with family-friendly options. From animated adventures to live-action remakes and sequels, there’s somthing for everyone to enjoy. Most of the films are expected to recieve a PG rating.
Kicking off the year, January features “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl” on Netflix, “Henry danger: The Movie” on Paramount+, and ”The colors Within” in theaters. “Dog Man” follows at the end of the month.
February brings the highly anticipated “Paddington in peru,” the third installment in the popular series. In late February, “The Unbreakable Boy” also arrives in theaters.
March sees the release of “Disney’s Snow White,” starring Rachel Zegler in a live-action adaptation of the classic animated film.
Summer heats up with pixar’s “Elio” in June, a comedic adventure about an 11-year-old transported to an interplanetary paradise. August will feature “Freakier Friday,” reuniting Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in a body-swapping sequel.
The fall season includes “Wicked: For Good,” the second part of Universal’s “Wicked,” arriving in late November.
Other anticipated animated releases, with dates to be resolute, include an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s “The Twits” on Netflix and Laika’s stop-motion fantasy, “Wildwood.”
