The music industry saw a surge of high-profile releases on April 10, 2026, highlighted by a first-time collaboration between Lady Gaga and Doechii and the return of The Strokes with new material.

Lady Gaga and Doechii teamed up for the single Runway, marking the first time the two artists have worked together. The track serves as the first official single from the soundtrack of the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026.

The song was co-written and co-produced by Bruno Mars. Described as a high-energy house-pop collaboration, Runway features booming bass and a fashion-forward aesthetic, pairing the theatrical delivery of Gaga with the sharp cadence of Doechii.

KATSEYE Returns Ahead of Coachella

Girl group KATSEYE released the single Pinky Up on April 9, 2026, just one day prior to their debut performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The release marks a transition for the group, as they are currently promoting as a five-member ensemble consisting of Daniela, Lara, Megan, Yoonchae, and Sophia. This follows the recent hiatus of member Manon Bannerman.

The track blends techno and hyperpop elements with K-pop precision and global pop sensibilities. The accompanying music video, directed by Bardia Zeinali, emphasizes a high-fashion and chaotic aesthetic to match the song’s etiquette-flipping concept.

The Strokes and Other Major Releases

The Strokes released the song Going Shopping on April 10, 2026. This track precedes their upcoming album, Reality Awaits, which represents the band’s first full-length project in six years.

Like KATSEYE, The Strokes are scheduled to perform at Coachella from April 10 to April 12, 2026.

Other notable releases appearing on streaming services on April 10 include:

  • Alabama Shakes with American Dream
  • Tiny Habits with Right in Front of Me
  • Ella Langley, who released the 18-track sophomore album Dandelion

Ella Langley’s new album builds on the momentum of her previous work, including You Look Like You Love Me featuring Riley Green and the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit Choosin’ Texas.

Additional releases for the period include music from Anyma &amp. LISA, Anitta & Shakira, Kehlani & Missy Elliott, Laufey, Teddy Swims, Holly Humberstone, and Evanescence.
