New TT Games Adventure Game: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch 2

Warner Bros. Games and developer TT Games have announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, an adventure title scheduled for release in 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, the Nintendo Switch 2 system, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The title is designed as a comprehensive exploration of the Batman mythos, focusing on the narrative arc of Bruce Wayne. According to TT Games, the game tracks the journey of Bruce Wayne as he evolves into the protector of Gotham City, integrating various iconic moments from the character’s history into the LEGO framework.

Gameplay and Technical Evolution

A primary technical focus for the new entry is the introduction of revised combat systems. Jonathan Smith, the strategic director and head of development at TT Games, stated that the title features all-new crime-fighting combat features intended to evolve the established LEGO gameplay mechanics.

Development and Marketing Timeline

The rollout of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight began in August 2025 with a series of reveals and trailers. The project was officially announced on August 19, 2025, with the launch of an announce trailer and the opening of wishlisting for the title.

Following the initial announcement, the game was unveiled to the public at Gamescom on August 28, 2025. TT Games subsequently released a behind-the-scenes feature titled Building the Legacy on September 20, 2025, to provide insight into the development process.

Further marketing milestones occurred throughout late 2025 and early 2026:

• December 11, 2025: Release of the Official Heroes & Villains Trailer and the opening of pre-orders.
• February 26, 2026: Release of new gameplay details focusing on Catwoman and a cinematic titled The Joker, Clown Prince of the Museum.
• March 13, 2026: Publication of the Henchperson Orientation update.
• March 16, 2026: Publication of the Official New Release Date Trailer.

TT Games offered a promotion starting August 26, 2025, allowing users to sign up to unlock the Golden Age Batsuit within the game.
