A planning application has been submitted for the redevelopment of the former Donnelly Mirrors site located on the outskirts of Naas. The proposal is for a warehouse/logistics campus that includes two warehouse/logistics buildings.

Unit Details:

  • Unit No. 1:

    • Gross floor area: approximately 8,586 sqm
    • Height: 21.15 meters
    • Ancillary office space: 374 sqm across three storeys
    • Staff facilities: 414 sqm across three storeys

Site Access and Infrastructure:
The site will be accessible via an upgraded entrance from the Dublin Road (R445) located to the west. A new spine road with an internal roundabout is planned to connect the site to the Dublin Road Roundabout. This design allows for independent development of both units.

Additional Features:
The development will also include:

  • Two HGV yards with truck parking
  • Car parking spaces, including accessible and EV charging spaces
  • Bicycle parking facilities
  • LPG tank and two sprinkler tanks (approximately 79 sqm each)
  • Two pump houses (approximately 68 sqm each)
  • An ESB substation (approximately 33 sqm)
  • Plant and signage
  • Street and flood lighting
  • Photovoltaic panels (PV)
  • Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDs)
  • Internal roads and footpaths
  • Boundary treatments and landscaping
  • All associated development works above and below ground

This project aims to significantly enhance the logistics capabilities in the area while addressing environmental standards through sustainable measures.
