The latest wave of additions was detailed via Xbox Wire, outlining the specific availability dates and the platforms supported for each title. The rollout began on April 7, 2026, and continued through April 8, 2026.

New Title Releases and Availability

Final Fantasy IV became available on April 7, 2026, for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This title is accessible to subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The game is a classic RPG centered on Cecil the dark knight, who teams up with characters such as Kain the dragoon, Rosa the white mage, and Rydia the summoner to oppose the Kingdom of Baron.

On April 8, 2026, several other titles were added to the service:

• DayZ (PC): An open-world zombie survival game set in the post-soviet country of Chernarus. It is available for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass.
• Endless Legend 2 (Game Preview) (PC): A strategy game featuring asymmetric factions and powerful heroes. It joined Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and is also available with Game Pass Premium.
• FBC: Firebreak (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC): A cooperative first-person shooter involving a federal agency under attack by otherworldly forces. This title is available with Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass.

Microsoft Bubble is available for PC subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass, offering arcade-style action where players clear boards using precision shots and power-ups.

Previous March 2026 Additions

The April updates follow a series of releases from March 2026. On March 17, 2026, DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party was released for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass members.

Further March releases included South of Midnight and The Alters, both of which became available on March 18, 2026. South of Midnight is an action adventure from Compulsion Games, while The Alters is a sci-fi survival game where players create alternate versions of the protagonist, Jan, to survive on a hostile planet. Both titles are available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Disco Elysium – The Final Cut also joined the service on March 19, 2026, for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, available to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass users.

Service Management and Catalog Changes

While Microsoft continues to expand the catalog with new titles, the service also manages the removal of existing games. According to reports from OpenCritic, Xbox Game Pass is scheduled to lose five free games on April 15, 2026.

The current strategy for Game Pass involves differentiating content across tiers, with certain titles like Endless Legend 2 and FBC: Firebreak specifically highlighted as being available with Game Pass Premium in addition to Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
