New Xbox Update Adds Gamerscore Badges and Library Improvements

Tiered Gamerscore Badges

These badges will be visible on the user’s profile and within the Guide. According to the announcement, the badges evolve as the total Gamerscore grows, reflecting specific milestones achieved by the player over time.

Enhanced Game Library Filtering

The update also addresses game library management through the introduction of expanded filters. These tools are intended to help users quickly identify which titles in their library are playable and why.

The new filtering system allows users to:

• Separate games that the user owns from those that have been shared with them.
• Identify titles that are currently installed on the device but for which the user no longer has access.

These filters are designed to provide clarity for users who switch between different devices or jump between multiple consoles.
