NFL Draft: Players Set to Announce Second-Round Picks

NFL running back James Conner will represent the Arizona Cardinals at the 2026 NFL Draft by announcing the team’s second- and third-round selections in Pittsburgh on April 24, 2026.

The NFL announced on April 16, 2026 that Conner, who played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and spent multiple seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been selected as one of the current and former players tasked with announcing picks during Day 2 of the draft. This continues a league tradition of featuring team-affiliated personalities to reveal selections after the first round.

Conner will be announcing the Cardinals’ second pick in the second round (34th overall) and the first pick of the third round (65th overall), although these positions could change if the team’s general manager, Monti Ossenfort, executes trades before or during the draft.
