Nguyen Kim Li: Overcoming Difficulties to Achieve Academic Excellence
Nguyen Kim Li, a 22-year-old assistant professor at Tra Vinh University, has overcome numerous difficulties to achieve academic excellence. Her hard work and determination have earned her a full graduate scholarship worth 1.2 billion yuan from the Chinese government.
During her study period, Nguyen Kim Li received several scholarships from Tra Vinh University, including scholarships for academic advancement, outstanding students from poor families, and outstanding female students. These scholarships not only provided her with financial support but also motivated her to study harder and create favorable conditions for her academic growth.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Nguyen Kim Li actively sought job opportunities to pay for her tuition. She worked as a teaching assistant at a Chinese center, translated storybooks, and tutored students. These experiences not only helped her develop the skills needed for future teaching jobs but also enabled her to live independently.
Nguyen Kim Li’s academic journey was not without its challenges. She initially studied nursing but later discovered her passion for learning and teaching languages, especially Chinese. Despite the difficulties she faced in the early stages, she persevered and eventually made progress in her studies. From the second semester of her freshman year, she not only caught up with her classmates but also achieved the highest score.
Dr. Nguyen Phuc Sim, head of the Chinese Department of the Southern Khmer Language, Culture, Arts and Humanities School of Tra Vinh University, praised Nguyen Kim Li’s academic achievements. “I am a lecturer of Nguyen Kim Li and her thesis advisor. She has excellent learning and exercise abilities, so when she graduated in March this year, I proposed that she become a teaching assistant in the Chinese Department.”
Nguyen Kim Li’s success is a testament to her hard work and determination. Her achievement serves as an inspiration to students and young people who are pursuing their academic and professional goals.
