NHS England Partners with Beamtree for Enhanced Data Analytics

The National Health Service (NHS) Confederation in the UK is collaborating with Beamtree, a health technology firm, to launch The Evolve Collaborative. This initiative seeks to improve how NHS trusts in England use operational data, focusing on acute care services to boost efficiency and patient outcomes through advanced data analytics.
By combining Beamtree’s analytics platform with the NHS Confederation’s expertise,the program aims to benchmark performance,understand variations,and implement data-driven process improvements. The platform uses AI and machine learning to predict future trends, enabling NHS trusts to proactively address challenges and evaluate the impact of interventions.
Tailored dashboards and tools support various roles within the NHS, while peer-to-peer learning communities, facilitated by experts, offer a secure environment for sharing best practices and developing solutions.
Matthew Taylor, NHS Confederation chief executive, said The Evolve Collaborative will empower leaders with necessary data. He added that the program will encourage members to explore different approaches and ask “why,” combining predictive analytics with peer learning to drive measurable betterment.

Membership in the Evolve Collaborative is available to NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts providing acute services in England.
Beamtree chief executive Marek Stepniak noted the success of a similar program, health Roundtable, in Australia and New Zealand. He said those insights have already helped providers achieve tangible outcomes, and he looks forward to bringing this proven model of learning and collaboration to the UK.
