The Niagara University cross country teams finished their seasons at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships. The men’s team placed 34th, and the women’s team finished in 37th position.
Men’s Team Highlights:
- Braden York: Senior runner, finished 39th in the 10K race with a time of 30:59.02.
- Luc DiFlavio: Placed 197th with a time of 33:24.99.
- Caleb Noble: Finished 225th in 34:26.65.
- Caleb Harman: Came in 234th with a time of 34:45.94.
- Brendan Kelly: Completed the team in 251st place, finishing in 37:18.50.
Women’s Team Highlights:
- Alexa Briggs: Freshman runner, led the team with a time of 22:26.02, placing 151st in the 6K race.
- Alissa Mete: Finished 180th in 22:57.88.
- Sara Mueller: Placed 202nd with a time of 23:13.46.
- Mercedez Covey: Finished 247th in 24:18.98.
- Sarah Mruk: Completed the scoring five in 249th place with a time of 24:22.32.
Team Performances:
- The Syracuse men’s team won the team title.
- Providence won the women’s team title.
