Nick Cannon Opens Up About Mental Health
Nick Cannon, 44, recently shared his journey regarding mental health. He revealed that he has been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. He expressed that he sought testing because he wanted to understand himself better. Cannon also mentioned having ADHD and dyslexia. He feels that being neurodivergent is part of who he is.
Cannon emphasized the importance of seeking help. He stated, “I’m healing. I need help. Show me.” He embraces mental health and therapy, aiming to inspire others with his experience.
In an episode of his “Counsel Culture Show,” Cannon discussed his diagnosis with psychologist Dr. Cheyenne Bryant. He described narcissism as a spectrum ranging from confidence to arrogance. He identified with most traits of narcissism, except for a lack of empathy and rage.
Cannon mentioned his Christian upbringing and his belief in God’s support during tough times. He also shared his unique perspective on fatherhood. Cannon believes he has received divine messages indicating he would have many children.
Currently, he is a father to 12 children with six women. He welcomes his latest child, a daughter named Halo Marie, born in December 2022. He is also a father to twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey and has children with other partners.
