The upcoming KISS biopic, “Shout It out Loud,” may feature Nick Jonas as Paul Stanley. According to Deadline, the KISS movie is aiming for a late 2025 or early 2026 production start. While the deal isn’t final, sources indicate it’s close.
Details remain scarce, but the Paul Stanley biopic will reportedly cover the band’s origins in the 1970s and their initial four years. jonas is expected to perform Stanley’s vocals, requiring training to match his signature sound. casting for the other band members is ongoing.
“Shout It Out Loud” was initially announced in 2019 by KISS’s manager,Doc McGhee. Netflix was reportedly nearing a deal in 2021, with Joachim Rønning slated to direct, though he later departed.McG is now attached to direct the KISS film. Neither Jonas nor Stanley have commented.
Stanley stated in 2021 that the film sought actors in their early 20s for authenticity.
McGhee had said in 2023 that Netflix would release the film in 2024, but that did not occur.
