Nicola Coughlan too Star in New Two-Part ‘I Am Helen’ Drama on Channel 4
Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan is set to lead the next installment of Channel 4’s acclaimed female-led drama series, I Am. The new two-part story, titled I Am Helen, will see Coughlan collaborate with Bafta-winning filmmaker Dominic Savage, who is renowned for his authentic exploration of the female experience.
A Powerful Collaboration for a Provocative Series
Dominic Savage’s I Am series is celebrated for its “provocative, emotionally raw storytelling,” delving into the personal experiences of women with unflinching honesty. coughlan,who has garnered international acclaim for her role as Penelope Featherington in Netflix’s Bridgerton,expressed her excitement about joining the project.

The series has previously featured powerful performances from notable actresses,including Kate Winslet in I Am Ruth,Suranne Jones in I Am Victoria,and Samantha Morton in I Am Kirsty.
