Background

Nicolás Ibáñez,the⁤ former controlling shareholder of D&S – a⁤ company acquired by Walmart in 2009 -​ will become a father again at the age of 69.​ The child’s mother is ‌Martina Vivo, a 36-year-old Argentine chef.

Vivo arrived in ​Chile in 2016, having previously worked in New York and Punta del Este. She was initially invited by⁤ Francesco Vannucci, founder of the popular pizzeria Brunapoli, to ‌work in ‍Chile.

Professional History & Relationship

Martina Vivo‌ began her career with⁢ Brunapoli as a host and administrator at the‍ La dehesa location, later managing the ⁢Vitacura branch. She eventually became a buisness partner ‍in the restaurant. Approximately​ two years ago,⁢ Vivo stepped​ back⁤ from the daily operations of Brunapoli to​ pursue private catering opportunities.

Vivo and Ibáñez were introduced through Ibáñez’s daughter,‍ Carolina, last year.‍ Ibáñez hired‌ Vivo for several catering events, and‌ a romantic relationship later ⁢developed.

Future Plans

Vivo‌ currently divides her time between Buenos Aires and⁢ Chile. She is⁢ expecting a child with Ibáñez,​ with a due date in January.
