- Creating a Dark Sleep Environment: Ensuring that the bedroom is dark, quiet, and cool can promote better sleep. Blackout curtains can be helpful.
- Prioritizing Regular Sleep Schedules: Maintaining a consistent sleep-wake cycle, even on weekends, can help strengthen the circadian rhythm.
Public health initiatives aimed at reducing light pollution and promoting healthy sleep habits are also needed. This could include policies to regulate outdoor lighting and educational campaigns to raise awareness about the risks of nighttime light exposure.
