Iran Reportedly Executes⁣ nine Prisoners in One Day

Reports indicate that Iranian authorities carried out the executions of at least nine prisoners on ‍Sunday, May 4, according ⁣to sources. ⁤The executions took place in multiple prisons across the country.

Executions Across Multiple Prisons

According to reports, ⁢those executed include Ali Nouri, 35; Mojtaba Lakzai, 34; Moussa Chokouhi, 40; alireza Lalozaï; Youssef Sorvaroush (Narou’i); Khosrow Sarani; adn Mahmoud Sarani (Rokhshani). These executions reportedly occurred at Birjand prison. Saber Eliassi, 33, was reportedly executed in Choubindar prison in Qazvine, and Naeb Balouchi,⁢ 38, in⁣ Zahedan⁣ central prison.

Additional Executions Reported

In addition to the aforementioned executions, reports also surfaced regarding other prisoners executed in late April and early May. Hossein Shiravand, 28, and Ahmad Derikvand were reportedly executed in parsilon prison in Khorramabad. A woman identified as Saghar was also reportedly executed in Qezel-Hessar prison in Karadj. On April 30, Moslem Darvishi, 25, was reportedly hanged at Ahwaz Sepidar ⁣prison, and ⁢houshang Abbassi,⁤ 31, at Tabriz central prison.
