It hasn’t even reached its first birthday, but the Nintendo Switch 2 has already received several especially exciting titles, such as Mario Kart: World, Donkey Kong: Bananza, pokémon Legends: AZ, and the more recently announced Metroid Prime 4: beyond. But were are the new, large-scale 3D Super Mario games or the next episodes of The Legend of Zelda? The Japanese company understands exactly how strong the desire is to return to the most celebrated series with completely new installments, so it wanted to start 2026 by announcing that developers are already working on this wish.Moreover, it’s not just about that: the hybrid console will also be expanded with experiences that Nintendo fans have never seen before.
