Nintendo has expanded the retro game library for its subscription service, adding three classic titles to the Nintendo Switch Online NES collection. According to recent gaming announcements, the update brings vintage titles including the action platformer Ninja Gaiden 3 to modern hardware for subscribers.

The latest software refresh brings three distinct 8-bit titles from the Nintendo Entertainment System era into the digital catalog available to active members. Subscribers accessing the service can now download and play the newly integrated titles directly through the dedicated NES application on Nintendo Switch consoles.

Among the additions is Ninja Gaiden 3: The Ancient Ship of Doom, a challenging side-scrolling platformer originally developed and published by Tecmo.
